Biography

Aileen Foley is a sophomore from Clarksburg, Maryland studying Computer Science at the University of Maryland. She is interested in illustration, animation, and music. In the future, she would like to explore the intersection between art and technology. This includes computer animation, digital art, and music production. Once she graduates with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, she intends to work in a field where she can incorporate her knowledge of both the arts and technology to create media that inspires audiences across the world.
Through her College Park Arts Scholars Capstone project, Aileen plans to explore her interests in illustration and technology. She also plans on becoming involved in some of the arts and computer science opportunities on campus. By graduation, she intends to have a thorough understanding of programming that will allow her to have a successful and enriching career.
